Susan Yonk

Research Assistant

My path to evaluation took several twists and turns, starting with receiving my B.S. Degree in Computer Science from the University of South Alabama.

I worked for 20 years in software design and development, including 8 years as a telecommunications software design manager. I then completed a certificate in ESL Teaching, volunteered as an ESL instructor and worked as an ESL and Special Education Instructional Teaching Assistant.

As an evaluation research assistant, I am afforded the unique opportunity of utilizing my education and experience in a variety of ways, including systems analysis, database development, data analysis, report writing, and coordination of large- and small-scale data collection activities.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, family and friends, playing the piano, and living in NC with easy access to beautiful mountains and beaches.
